For our builder partners
Everything your project management team needs to work with us: who to call, how we run the job, and how to authorize work outside our contracted scope.
These are the people assigned to your job. They know your plans, your schedule, and your site. Call or text them directly with anything you need — scheduling, grade questions, inspections, or added work.
Your assigned project manager is always the first line of communication. They have the plans, the model, the crew schedule, and the authority to make decisions on your job, so going to them first is the fastest way to get an answer and keeps everyone working off the same information. Only if your project manager has become unresponsive should you escalate.
Escalation only
Brian
Owner
Please reach out to Brian only when your project manager has not responded in a reasonable window. He would rather step in on a real problem than duplicate a conversation already in progress.
Our build process and field procedures are the same on every project, so your team always knows what to expect from us on site.
01
We overlay the current site plan against the engineer's survey in our 3D software and confirm foundation placement, scale, and site location. If anything disagrees, your project manager raises it before we mobilize.
02
Topsoil strip, house excavation, utility runs, driveway cut, backfill, grading, and retaining walls are each modeled with cut and fill yardage. That model is what we bid, dig, and bill from.
03
The approved model is loaded into our excavators and dozers, so design line work and depths live in the cab and our operators hold exact grade against the surveyor's plan.
04
Your project manager confirms start dates, sequences crews around your other trades, and schedules haul trucks. Give us as much notice as you can on schedule changes and we will work with it.
05
Our crews follow your site rules, keep access and haul routes clean, protect utilities and stakes, and hold a daily safety expectation. Please let your project manager know about any site-specific requirements up front.
06
We bill by the same stages we bid, and only for work completed. Progress is verified on site before invoicing so your team can check our numbers against what is in the ground.
07
If you need work that was not in our contracted scope, we do not start until your project manager has signed the change order authorization below on a time and materials basis. This protects both of us.
Use this form any time you need something done that was not included in BTM's contracted scope of work. Fill it out, sign it, and submit it — your BTM project manager receives it and work can begin.
